Horrible soot damage
This picture was taken from a home that had some of the worst soot damage any of us have ever seen. The photo was taken in the basement where the fire originated and was contained to a four foot area. This was just 24 hours after the fire. Thankfully no one was hurt. The basement was a complete tear out that we did it in just under four days. The upstairs and even into the garage was heavily damaged by all the soot. The upstairs was cleaned from top to bottom with SERVPRO of South Elkhart cleaning products and completely repainted and restored from top to bottom.
